I don't know if this is the correct forum but here goes.
If a UK Citizen requires an ESTA to enter the USA does a US Citizen require a similar permission to enter the UK ??? : :confused::confused::mad:

In a word No.

If you hold a US Citizen passport and are coming to the UK for a visit and not working you can enter for upto 6 months without a visa, providing you have funds to cover your stay and you are not planning to work.
