I spotted a plain white Hercules that seemed to be parked up on or near to the threshold of the 23 runway late yesterday afternoon. Couldn't see any national insignia or other markings on it but there was a reg mark, just my eyes were too dim to discern the letters therein :}
Anyone know any more about the Herc's presence?
Pure guesswork, but Offshore Exhibition on - could be something to do with Oil Spill Response Limited

It was ZS-JIZ of Safair which is filling in for EI-JIV while it's away on maintenance apparently.
'JIV has been based at East Midlands for quite a while.
