Hi, inflight engine restart for the c525 is with battery only; no generator-assist! Why is that? My guess is that with one generator bearing all the load, that could harm and/or knock out the electrical system?? Each generator is able to bear 50% overload for 2 minutes though. Any guesses?

Generator cross start is indeed disabled in flight (weight off left squat switch) in order to preclude any generator damage from excessive N2 on the operating engine - hope that helps !.
Not sure if it's worth mentioning, but there is also a table detailing altitude and KIAS with various starting regimes (starter assist, starter assist intentional and windmilling or starter assist) - if you need a copy, more than happy to PM !.
