View Full Version : A question for the guys who have completed the Bristol 2 weeks for module 1

My exams are approaching shortly, and just skimming back through some of the earlier frames, . .some of it is rather hazy (although I intend to cover it again).

But did anyone else feel like that before the Bristol 2 weeks and did that help a great deal in pulling it altogether ?

Think it's just pre-exam anxiety but would like to hear from guys having "been there".

cheers,

GB.

Gonville, yup felt exactly the same way and like you I managed to re-read the manuals, my own notes and go through the progress tests a second time before the two week GS and felt that this helped to dust off those topics that I had not looked at for some weeks. If you’ve done your homework you’ll find the 2 weeks will not be telling you anything you don’t already know (except the odd new rule of thumb) but it will bring you up to speed for the exams, however be aware that there is little time to socialise as the volume of out of class work to be completed is significant and therefore it would be wise to stay on at your digs over the intervening weekend to catch up. Having said that I found the whole set up at Bristol excellent and luckily I passed all 8 Mod 1 papers at the first attempt. Good luck with the exams. DD. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Gonville

I am in the same boat as you, started Frame 1 last June/July and currently on Frame 13 (of 14). I do worry about remembering the things that I went through so long ago (mainly because I am not sure that I can!).

I plan on reading through my notes and the folders again and re sitting all of the progress tests but I still have concerns about being able to recall so much information.
