Hey Y'all,

I've been seriously looking at going over to China for a E145/E190 gig. It seems like everyone I've spoken with has enjoyed their time in Asia. I've also been told that signing on with Parc (out of Dublin) was good, and that they were a good company to be affiliated with.

Does anyone back this up or have any info that is contrary?

I would also appreciate any comments or helpful advice regarding working through the process.

Thanks

I've done on and off contract work with PARC since '96... Good people:ok:. IMHO... probably one of the best if not the best.

Good luck to you and enjoy Asia.

Did two sessions with Parc, 2008 and 2009. Good people, salaries and expenses were paid right away, easy to get in contact with whenever you had any Q's or concerns.

China - I have no idea! :)

Likewise can back that up. Worked on many gigs for parc for just over a yr, and everything is on time and very professional outfit... heard different about the jobs in china though!

I am also curious about Parc in China. I am a US based regional pilot, and have been seriously thinking about giving it a go overseas. For US tax purposes, are you considered an independant contractor? What are working/living conditions like in Tianjin? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Parc is the way to go for this contract in Tianjin. There is always someone with you escorting you to your simulator and medical. There is always someone you can reach for help. Other contractors give you a map and say good luck.

As for the living conditions in Tianjin, you only need to search Tianjin to hear about the conditions. But don't take our word, come check it out for yourself. Bring the Imodium with you.
