Hi

Just wondered whether anyone had any experience of training for the MEIR & CPL at Sky Leisure Shoreham?

Felixflyer,

I do not have first hand experience of the training at Sky Leisure, however, I do know people who have trained there and did not have any complaints. I have met the CFI at SL, which I am assuming is still Martin (it was a while ago), who is a nice chap.

I am not sure if you have flown out of Shoreham, but its a nice friendly airfield, with full ATC, and a published NDB approach which is good for you IR training.

I would go down to Shoreham and check things out yourself, talk to the instructors, look at the aircraft and see what you think.

All the best, and enjoy the course which ever you decide to do.

Cheers.

Yes; Martin Blunden is still there. Nice bloke.

Shoreham is a great airfield. Good ATC, and no known potholes :)
