It's best not to procrastinate, but if you do, for Pete's sake keep your mouth shut.

“He said he was going to fix the brakes when he got home,” Berlin said.

Lumbering big American autos with failed brakes.

1/ Shout Ooooooooo, fooy! PUMP brakes like hell.

2/ Stand on the parking brake fit to bust the cable.

3/a If above 15 mph, change down to Low or 1, whatever.
3/b Below 15 try for reverse.
3/c Below 5, try for park. It's protected, so won't work at speed.

4/ Hazards, honk (hoot) etc.

5/ If impact seems unavoidable, zig-zag as though you're trying to warm your tires/tyres.

6/ Hit something with a low relative velocity.

This is what I tell the Rivetess. She tells me not to be silly.

6/ Hit something with a low relative velocity.

I think the word should be spelled "value"

My dad asked me take his Morris Minor down to the shops in the next town to get brake fluid. Going down a steep hill approaching a busy junction I suddenly realised why he wanted it .... Lucky to get away with just a fright!

I always liked seeing this show-off -
