PPRuNe's "sister" site; Airline Pilot Central here stateside has been down as well. Both owned by Internet Brands, or were last I checked. Both appear to be back up again though.

And G-CPTN, they still are.

Seems to be running at about 1/10 speed though. I found APC down as well. Internet Brands must have had a bad day and have the site on some less capable backup server.

westhawk,

APC is back up, for now anyway. I pinged HSLD and a couple of the Mods to see if they knew what was up.

And things seem to be back to normal operating speed here.

Glad it wasn't my PC, as I'm inclined to blame it for all these sorts of problems.

Seems fine today, though.

Never got chance to try getting on Pprune last night.
Too much competition. And the oldies are always at the back of
the queue.

OpenDNS servers couldn't load PPRuNe last night, back today, but Yahoo! isn't forwarding my mail to OE and Android on phone. What's up, doc ?

MagnusP

Mr Norm: if it's the big red button marked DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, give it a prod and let us know.

Another piece in the jigsaw: heard from Prey (tracking software) that their servers "hit a bump" (as they put it) at the same time as PPRuNe wouldn't load. And Yahoo! which went off is STILL not back to normal.

Either it's tinfoil helmet time or the pope is about to visit Madrid.

Perhaps we were closed down to prevent the organisation of riots and civil unrest?
