"Britain's Hidden Heritage" on BBC1 at 7pm tonight features John Sergeant reporting on the Vulcan.

I must have been in a parallel universe, as all I saw was some country house in Scotland being cleaned by some ladies :p Regional differences ?

Its on the proramme but about 40 mins into the programme try BBC I player and move it to about 40 mins with the slider at the bottom

Shame that there was no mention of Doncaster (Robin Hood Airport) where the plane is now based again, so that people would know where they could go see it if they wished.

To thread wander - My occupation often brings me into contact with the clergy - and recently while having a chat with a Surrey church warden it emerged that he had been an RAF pilot - much of his time flying the Vulcan. In another instance a 5ft nothing vicar had piloted Sunderlands in ww2 - and another vicar had served in the Parachut Regt.
