From BBC:

Emergency alert as plane diverts to Inverness airport. An emergency was declared after a smoke alarm activated on a passenger aircraft with nearly 150 passengers on board.

The Boeing 737 was flying from Copenhagen to Iceland when it was forced to divert to Inverness airport at about 16:00 on Sunday.

A spokesman for Highlands and Islands Airports Limited said all those on board were safe and well.

The alarm indicated a problem with the aircraft's hold and an inspection was carried out at Inverness.

And AvHerald:

An Astraeus Boeing 737-300 on behalf of Iceland Express, registration G-STRI performing flight 5W-902 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Keflavik (Iceland), was enroute at FL340 over the Atlantic Ocean about 220nm north of Inverness,SC (UK) when the crew reported they had an aft cargo hold fire indication and requested to descend to FL210 and divert to Inverness. The aircraft descended to FL210, the crew reported the fire indication had ceased following the activation of the first fire suppression system. The aircraft landed safely at Inverness Airport about 40 minutes later.
The aircraft is currently being inspected.

Astraeus´s operation in Iceland dba Iceland Express appears to be slowly coming apart at the seams. Now this kind of incident can happen to anybody, but in June they achieved 20% on-time performance, improving to 30% in July. Now that is pretty dismal anywhere. And apparently endless pax service issues.
