Apologies for the late notice.
The following information regarding the celebration of Col's life that has been kindly provided by Sarah Greenwood, Susan Dibley and Peter Lawrence, for members that may wish to attend.
Col was tragically killed in a helicopter crash at Turramurra, 22 July 2011.
The Celebration of Col's life will be Saturday, 6th of Aug at 11am.
This will be held at Ettalong Beach Memorial club, which is part of the Mantra Resort.
There is a function room overlooking the ocean at the front of club on the ground floor.
There is also accommodation available at the Resort, when booking, please advise the reservations staff you are attending the function for Col Greenwood.
Should you be travelling from Northern Beaches, there is a regular ferry service departing Palm Beach to Ettalong. Please check FantaSea Palm Beach Ferry Service (http://www.palmbeachferry.com.au) for suitable times for return journey as well. It is an easy, flat 10minute walk to the club from the ferry terminal.
Alternatively there are trains to Woy Woy Station and the Ettalong Beach club does provide courtesy shuttles, you will need to check the times. Ettalong Beach Club - the club with the longest view! Outstanding conference and wedding facilities, stunning views. (http://www.ettalongbeachclub.com.au)
It would be much appreciated if you could advise your attendance asap so we are able to cater for numbers.
