Guys,

Its come to my attention that a Citation Excel registered I-BENT which was operated by BENAIR in Italy has recently been reposessed by a Bank.

Any one know which bank has taken this back ?

Any info surrounding this aircraft please PM me.

Saw it in Venice yesterday. Another Benair aircraft (Falcon 2000) landed while I was waiting so presumably company is still solvent.

Slightly off-thread, but a reg. such as 'I-BENT' just asking for trouble, isn't it ?

Trimtab,

Thanks for that info.

I-BENT was owned by Benair SA and is operated by (or was) by Eurofly Service SpA but i've heard that this aircraft was recovered by a bank.

I know this is for sale may explain why when I called Eurofly I got no where.

Really keen to get to the bottom of this. For some reason it appers Eurofly are not very forthcoming about giving out any info on this. I appreciate they are probably looking out for themselves.

it's just on sale, simply on sale. Operator is Eurofly Service, correct.

I wouldn't trust an operator whom gives details of their client to anyone....hence I simpatize if they didn't spread infos. Those who has to know, knows...:)

Yes we are aware its for sale but dosent help when you try to buy it and the operator wont respond to emails, calls or anything surrounding the aircraft.

How can you buy something if the operator is been far from helpful ?

Hi Flyer2008
If you are still interested, I can put you in contact with the person in charge of the sale within Benair. PM me if I can be of any help.

Wasn't I-BENT involved in a accident in Palma 3 years ago? I remember, a Take Off Abort after V1, the plane went out of the runway, I would not buy a plane like that...:=:=:=

Well - olde post.

I-BENT was owned by Benetton, and sold to the USA in Nov 2011 as N620GS, and recently resold again with a requested reg of N991RW.
