"A technical fault" delays a LHR flight in Hong Kong and the pax had to spend the night in the terminal.

Still think LAME - less turnarounds, closing the engine shop and outsourcing was such a great idea?

Watch reliability plummet even further when further cost cutting occurs.

More than 300 Qantas passengers were forced to spend the night at Hong Kong airport last night because of a mechanical fault with their plane.

The airline says the flight from London to Melbourne via Hong Kong was supposed to leave early last night.

Qantas says the passengers had to stay at the airport because hotel accommodation could not be found.
