Which Fleet, to Which Destination?

I'm trying to find out which fleet typically serves a destination. Ideally I'm interested in Qatar Airways.

I understand that sometimes for a variety of reasons (technical, staffing, load-factor etc.) a different aircraft type will be used, but is there a website or list that shows which fleet is usually used for each destination?

Some airlines may operate the same type but with 2 or 3 different configurations for specific sets of routes. As a small example, Qatar A330s for instance have 2 basic configurations: F/C/Y and C/Y. They have routes where they only offer a two class cabin and therefore (with the odd exception due to an a/c being u/s for instance) these routes will not see their 3 class cabin configured aircraft - and v.v. I guess if you used their reservation engine you could see what cabin configuration they offer for each destination. Some enthusiast airline fleet publications also indicate the actual configuration of each a/c in the fleet.

Perhaps I didn't explain very well, I'm interested in which type usually flies which routes. I know the Qatar website and even Wikipedia list all the destinations, but is there anywhere which lists which destinations are (usually) served by e.g. A320, which are served by A330, which by B777 etc.

Unless you have access to specialist websites (which usually have rather hefty fees) the place to look for the information you are after is the airline's timetable. It might take a bit of time to compile the information depending on the format it is presented in, but it is there.

Done MAN-DOH on 332 and 333 (F class on one), also DOH-MNL on 77W, 77L so who knows?

John Alcock: your friendly local travel agent probably still gets a paper copy of the OAG (about the size of a phone directory) every month, and promptly throws away the previous one. Just ask and I'm sure he'll be delighted to save himself the bother of disposing of it.
