At present I am cabin crew, but it is my ambition to become flight crew in the future. Rumour has it that the airline I work for will be recruiting to train new pilots in the near future, which is something I'd really like to go for.
Even though I have always been interested in aviation, I have no flying experience and do lack knowledge on the subject.
Can anyone please suggest where a good starting point would be for me so I can gain greater knowledge and hopefully impress at an interview (baring in mind that I would not have any flying hours to my name). Any good books or other sources that I can refer to?
Many thanks.

Get a PPL and read as much stuff about aviation as possible. Being from the airline you will have a HUGE head start.

Get yourself a set of PPL books and start reading! Enjoy.

Hey man, actually Cobham is my home town in the UK. Would be nice to live in Aus though ;)
