News from Paris that Ryanair are talking to Chinese state manufacturer Comair about involvement in the design of a 200 seater 737/A320 equivalent. They've evidently pissed off both Airbus and Boeing with unrealistic price demands but getting a Chinese airliner like that into production would really put the cat among the pigeons.

It smacks too of Andy Harrrison's delusional self-designed orange eco propfan nano coated publicity bus.

Is this another of the poison dwarf's unfeasible publicity stunts, or is there some reality in the plan?

It may be , or it may be Ryanairs extra bargaining tool to try and get Boeing or Airbus to sell at ridiculously low prices again. It would be a very bold move to be one of the main launch customers for a relatively new airframe manufacturer, and it could easily backfire.
