View Full Version : Refuelling/Oxygen Questions

Hi to everyone, I have looked at CAO's but can't find the answer to these questions.
1. Can you defuel such as a 737 with pax on board?
2. Can you overwing refuel if the pressurised fuelling system is inoperative with the APU running?
3. Can you top up the pilots Oxygen system with the cylinder still in place with pax & crew on board ?

If anybody can quote the Regs. it would be very helpful.

tired of all the interpretations people come up with. so here are the relevant regs... suggest you make your own conclusions...

Who actually de-fuels? I recall a young Dash 8 FO who dialled up the wrong numbers on the fuel bugs and ended up half a tonne or so over weight. They pleaded with us to take some out despite the fact that none of our equipment is configured to de-fuel. I know Shell's position is, once it's in your aircraft - you own it.
