Class 1 problem. Can anyone help

Well lad’s. The below is for my brother. What can be done if you have a stigmatism of -3.5 and on that basis failed the class 1 medical , I have read a few posts about the Bates test and Bates teachers ( are there any in Ireland ? ), I rang my own optician today and he said that astigmatism can go up and down and if that happens can I redo my medical exam ? . I have also been told that I can’t have Laser treatment to have any correction done before I have my test but have read that Dr Chorley in CAA in Gatwick has told another guy that he CAN have the laser correction before his test , It’d be a great help if anyone could answer this , thanks

You said on another thread that you had your Initial Class 1 on 9th June. Is this thread about you, or your brother?

Hi Dave. Yes I had mine on the 9th along with my brother, I passed everything but have to go back to see a asthma specialist as I had a touch when I was younger, I haven't passed everything yet so didn't update that post, But I will do as soon as I pass. The issue is with my brother. I must see if we can get the full results of his test so ye can see. Thanks
