I have received news that Aeroflot has cancelled flights from Mineralnyye Vody to Moscow because of a lack of accreditation. I use that word as its the closest translation I can find.

I ask specifically as Aeroflot have accepted payment from my wife for tickets and are now requesting that the tickets are returned due to the reasons stated above. This is most concerning as without her tickets to Moscow she cannot travel to England.

I ask if the law of contract for tickets for tickets purchased in Russia with Aeroflot applies there? I feel that Aeroflot have a contract that once the tickets are purchased that the airline should be held responsible for ensuring that the flights are completed. Even if this is with another airline then Aeroflot should foot the bill.

I have since learned that Aeroflot cannot fly their aircraft into MRV due to the runway not being up to standard.

So Aeroflot persist in selling tickets for aircraft which are not permitted to use the airport.

ANyone know when the runway approval is likely to happen?
