I hate posts like this it makes me look like a foamer. I has anybody heard anything about SIA 318 tonight. According to Flightaware it spent a bit of time at Lambourne, came into land on 09R, then flew around to land on 09R at the second attempt see:

This may be an error in Flightaware’s tracking software, it isn’t 100% 100% of the time. I understand these types of incidents are perfectly safe and all crews prepare for things like this but they don’t happen that frequently at Heathrow and even less frequently with a A380

Go-arounds are routine, particularly at major airports, which is why reports of them are often frowned upon on here. The reason A380s don't do them as much is because there aren't many 380s at the moment. It's usually spotters who find them of interest, not professionals.
