Hi,

I need some information. Can anybody advise me of the following.

The exact dates of the last movements under the then existing AOC at that time, which was subsequently handed back to the UK CAA in April 2010.

I need the dates and approx times and to where the MK B747-200's operated up to, say the last week of commercial ops prior to the airline cessation of full commercial operations.

Are there any ex Aircrew/loadmasters or ops people who can recall through log books or otherwise???.

Your assistance would be greatfully appreciated

Thanks Capt Pork Chop

Last full flight for MK Airlines was G-MKJA from Joberg (JNB) to Nairobi (NBO) on April 7, 2010

On April 10, 2010 G-MKJA attempted to depart Nairobi (NBO) for Manston (MSE) and blew the #2 engine. The departure was aborted.

The crew off loaded the cargo and attempted to prepare the aircraft for a 3 engine ferry when they got word that the company turned in their AOC. The crew began finding their own way home
