I would like to make an public apology to Etihad and any individuals who may have seen any post made here as an affront. At no time was anything written that was ever intended to be malicious.

I personally hold every individual at Etihad and the corporation in high esteem and would like to apologize

Note: A lot of people are going to lose their jobs, and potentially face prison time in UAE

Man, that sounds very serious, what happened?, I don't understand what you are talking about or why the apologies.

If it's true then that's a much poorer reflection of Etihad than any post that has made it's way to PPRUNE. Etihad is demonstrating in fine form why they should not be an employer of choice for anyone who values freedom of expression or job security. Next will be your emails they are screening...

Yeah they will try and do it, get away with it but sometimes it just can't be ignored.

Need to keep this on the first page till the 22nd of June, if EY does not contact so I can give a written apology for any alleged grievance that may have been caused to them.... all bets are off.

Roadrunner what on earth are you doing?

Bring it on as far as I am concerned. I have seen a lot of potential fixes for guys that have lost medicals or committed a foe-par that have been offered a simple way out that suits the company that if it was pursued then it could have had a different outcome. This is business at the end of the day so if you have more to offer or more leverage then use it, it is not a charity. If someone has been aggrieved then recourse should be negotiated. Most of the time it's about who has the most conviction or resources. Several cases of imposed conditions have occurred where the aggrieved employee has taken the company to court in a country that they operate in (UK or USA) and a massive settlement made on the steps for unfair dismissal or other issues.
So bullies from either side of the fence be ware.

Roadrunner, we're pulling for you. Ethiad is just so wrong doing this bullying. I wish this gets some press coverage in the west; disapproval by their flying public should get the pressure onto Etihad to behave.

What exactly is going on? Are Etihad prosecuting individuals for posting things they don't like on this site? If so, through which lawyers and which courts?
