Crashworthy Cessna Seats/Belts

My buddy crashed his Cessna into trees and nearly tore the back half of the plane off. He is alive only because of a new 5-point harness he put in and the fact that he kept flying until it completely stopped. I have heard that there is a high-G "crash seat" available as an STC for Cessnas, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anybody know about this? Thanks.:confused:

The "New Build" 172/182 series installed new seat designs to meet the later FAA seat crash requirments, I think these are the ones you are looking for, they do however have a weight limit I seem to recall, a big problem if the UK has the same obesity problem we have in North America, These seats are fairly heavy and eat into the payload by the way.
