account needed for Utoob on new pc

when I go to utube on my netbook (Win7, Firefox) it immediately goes to a page that requires me to log in, I do have an account but don't remember the PW. On my old desktop pc (Win Vista, Firefox) if I do the same I get to see videos without logging in. Why does Utube do this on my netbook and not on my desktop machine and how do I stop it? I really can't be bothered with having accounts and logins for everything I look at unless I need to actually input stuff.

It is not because the desktop pc bookmark "remembers" me, it does not.

Any explaination please.

You have a cookie on your desktop but not on your netbook. On youtube, just follow the forgotten your password link? and get it emailed over to you/reset it.

Does it do the same thing with Internet Exploder on your win 7 box ?
