The US carrier George Bush is due to visit Portsmouth on friday 27th May with a compliment of 70 aircraft and over 5,000 crew. It will stay until tuesday. Should be an interesting sight although not sure how close you will be able to get to it.
It will be anchored off Stokes Bay.

Has been off of Cornwall for the last week or so involved in the military exercise 'Saxon Warrior'. F18's and E2's buzzing all around the Salisbury Plain training area... even had carrier based F18's pop into Lyneham for gas
