I have seen a four engined T tail prop aircraft flying quite low recently it has winglets as well.

What type would this be?

I know that is a bit vague but i bet the 'spotters' out there will know.

High wing or low wing? Apart from the winglets sounds a bit like a Dash-7...

There was an A400M at Filton a couple of weeks ago but they don't have winglets,it would help us solve this if the OP could tell us where he saw it, if it was high or low wing and what colour it was.
