Jet a1pricing ?

I can find loads of websites with avgas comparison pricing for local airfields and en route, but just having upgraded from r44 to ec120 can find anything unless you wish to fill a jumbo with 20 tonnes.......

Any pointers ?

Congratulations on upgrading to the EC120. It wouldn't be the one from Blackpool would it? If it is it's an excellent machine that has been well cared for.

I don't think there is a Jet A1 site for us "small" users. The best way to save money on fuel is to get as many fuel card accounts (BP, Shell, Avcard etc) as you can (so long as they are free). This gives you the supplies price at the airport not the airport price. It can save you some money but not all airfields take them.

alternatively buy a bowser and buy in bulk direct from a fuel oil supplier.
a friend of mine drives small tankers for such a company and he delivers to private aircraft owners at the same time as delivering to oil fired central heating users.
he states that Jet A1 is the same as " parafin" or central heating oil not to be confused with red diesel.
he states that when supplying say 1000 litres to a small air strip it comes from the same very large tank as the white central heating oil parafin.

it may be worth while looking into this

site bowsers are generally not that expensive
