I'm researching a midair collision that occured down here in darkest Kent involving a civilian Gypsy Moth and an RAF Hind K5418.

I do hope that as this was so long ago it does not cause offence and offer my apologies if it does.

The discussion is on our local history forum at Flying accident near Bekesbourne (http://www.kenthistoryforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=10567.msg85979#msg85979)

Might I please ask if anyone could tell me if there would have been a Board of Inquiry as an RAF aircraft was involved. As this was in July 1939 things would have got rather busy for the RAF just a few weeks later ( as if they weren't busy already). Would such a report be publically available.
