I just saw it on CFTO-TV Toronto - it made local news. But... no big deal. An Air Canada pilot told me that Airbus does extensive testing in severe electrical conditions - both on the ground and in real electrical storms. I'm sure Boeing does it as well.

Very cool video but im sure its no big deal.

A Qantas boeing got zapped going to aus from auckland and turned back as a precaution. Must have been before the ETP.

Was in a VC10 that was struck over St Mawgan bout 24years ago, it was no big deal, we landed at Brize as normal.

I agree , no big deal
but pictures and videos looks fantastic:D

and the planes goes through so called lightning check although :ouch:
