Nice way of visiting old DC6

Airline food served on little plastic trays is always sure to divide opinion -- but one unique restaurant is redefining what you'd expect to eat on-board a plane.

That's because this unusual eatery, which is the first of it's kind in the UK, is set inside a Douglas DC6 aircraft and run by 35-year-old chef Tony Caunce at Coventry Airport.

We ate there last week. Apart from service being a little slow (it was their first day) an some items being "off" the menu, It was great. The food quality is superb, portion size is more than adequate and quite good value.

Dear old SX who used to fly over our house on a regular basis has been done out very nicely. the tables are big compared to many restaurants and very sturdy. It gives an air of quality and being open in the evenings (check before you travel) it should provide a great atmosphere. Good luck to them! We will no doubt visit again.
