Hi there

I am considering a position with Gama and would like to hear people's thought on the company, good employer, ok, or other?

I would really appreciate some genuine opinions on this.

Thnx

Came across this subject and find it amazing no one has an opinion!

Every man andhis dog has an opinion on NetJets, but not Gama or Tag, why not?

....so, go for it.....whats your opinion then South Coast ?...you can be the first lol.....or is it that you to have been made an offer of employment ??

Am guessing this was the recent "CJ2+" job they advertised ?

Nope, no CJ 2 for me, however I could be interested in a job with them in the future as the I am not sure what the future holds for us at NJ.

Depending on what you are going into tread very carefully. 20 days hols and 3 of those have to be taken at xmas if you are admin. Good people, however Gamatized bit like Stretford Wives.Engineers good, safe and reliable to a point but not their fault. Not given the support from their very superior bods who I feel don't give them what they deserve. However would not touch them with a barge pole in hindsight and no I was not sacked. Left on my own accord. Looks good to start with not so good when dirt hits fan!! Sorry but you did ask!!
As for cabin crew etc. can't comment.
However, I still say watch your back!!! No looking through rose tinted glasses!!!

Not sure what position you are considering accepting?
Gama is a nice place to be though !!
Chief Pilot is brilliant as is the head of training, there are some really experienced guys there and it is well run with good infrastructure.
Highly recommend them to work for.

I think Martini-Man probably had one over the eight when he posted his last comment, or is he a she in "management", at Farnborough?

Kelly Hopper you wrote words of wisdom, to which I would add the following:

... your front, and your wallet.

Yes Gama are advertising for crews. However their attitude is very mercenary as they don't reply to qualified applications. Same with TAG

This attitude speaks volumes about an outfits general attitude towards it's work force in general.

The HR virus probably has a bit to do with it.

They are advertising yet again.

Seems something is not quiet right, as there must be many NJE crews who must still be around who are at the moment without a job, for the type stated in the advertisement.

What positions are they advertising for now?

Did the Falcon 2000 thing ever get going?

What's the story for the Legacy advert?

For what it's worth, Gama have added/taken over Hangar 8 and Aviation Beauport in recent years.

Cheers @nohold, but what's the lot like to work for? What do they pay, do they rotate or is it a fixed roster, annual leave, etc.. just trying to gather some details. That's all. I'd share if I could.

GAMA Engineering Oxford and Farnborough relocating to Bournemouth, lots of unhappy staff, seems all the promises from when it was announced hasn’t been seen in Black and White now that they’re getting down to the nitty gritty. Add that to current legal proceedings with H8 it looks like times are changing. I wonder how many customers will follow, Bournemouth already has several well established 145’s. Musical chairs ahead for at least the next 6 months and a very large hangar to fill!
