19 locals resigning
18 locals (1 withdrew his resignation). They were all waiting for their part of the profit share at CX before resigning. Currently working 3 months notice and will be joining HK Airlines under the following conditions:
FO salary close to HKD 150K/month (to make up for lack in housing)
Other FULL expat benefits
Remain in HKG
Quicker command time than at CX
Makes perfect sense, and ain't competition just GREAT!!

Please don't get too excited; I know a few pilots who work for HKA and these conditions would only be applicable for captains not for FOs.

AFAIK HKA does not pay any of their line pilots any expat benefits.
