Job hunting tips

Hi, can u guys give me some tips on what airline jobs I can get? or what I can do to increase my chances of getting an airline job?

I am a META qualified instructor with an Australian ATPL, over 2000hrs with 300 multi on a PA44, and a university degree.

Would doing, say an A320 type rating help?
