Santa Monica (KSMO) or Hawthorne Municipal (KHHR) ?

I am doing a Long Cross Country to build some CPL time. I am thinking to come to LA, California. I never been to LA. So I have some Qs about which airport I park the Aircraft. I will be staying for 2 days. so do you guys recommend KSMO or KHHR ? why ?

Personally, I'd recommend LGB. Only a short hop south of SMO. Much better facilities (Signature/Aeroplex), much more to do near the airport and in Long Beach and better/ less expensive hotels close by. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well.

I understand that. Duh. Did you see me mentioning the other dozens of airports in So. Ca.? LGB is very close in flying distance to SMO and a much better facility period. Not getting enough fiber?
