im just wondering... with how many hours & experience did you apply? did you just send an application online? did you find out any details about the interview?

thanks! and good luck again

The number of flight hours doesn't matter as there are 3 different cadet programs according to your flight experience or non-experience.
I guess the selection process is also adapted to your aeronautical experience

I've been interviewed in Paris the 30th of March and the atmosphere was cool
so just be yourself and work on the JKI booklet

Good luck

HI everyone,

I've been searching these forums for what to expect at this Cathay Pacific interview but every thread I come across people just start going on about how many hours they need, when did you get an invite etc :ugh: If you are wondering what the requirements are for Cathay please just look at their website and do some research.

If there is anyone out there that has been to the initial selection for Cathay Pacific I, and I'm sure many others, would you appreciate any advice about what technical questions to expect from the interview process as well as HR.

Thank you in advance,

Dangerman

Dangerman,

Go to Fragrant Harbour wannabes and read the entire thread from start to finish.

It's here http://http://www.pprune.org/fragrant-harbour-wannabes/378978-cathay-pacific-cadet-pilot-programme.html (http://www.pprune.org/fragrant-harbour-wannabes/378978-cathay-pacific-cadet-pilot-programme.html)

Yes it's a long thread, yes there are a lot of idiotic posts, but within the first 60-70 pages you should find A LOT of help.

I would also advise you to read up on the pros and cons of the CX CPP - there are a few, including not actually performing any TO/Landings whilst an SO, and potential upgrade time from SO to JFO....

Hey guys,

Just a quick question to anyone who has previously attended the initial interview. They say 'please bring the original and a photocopy of the following documents along to the interview'. Within this list they mention all logbooks. Do they actually want a photocopy of the whole logbook......every single page or just the last few maybe??

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this cause I'll have to do some major photocopying otherwise.

Thanks guys,

Dangerman

photocopy of the following documents
Do they have to be hard copies ? Anyone tried scanning it all on a disk and giving them the disk ?
