Hey Guys/Gals

I was just wondering if there are any flying jobs you can get with a ppl (banner towing etc)??
If there are any jobs which one can get with a ppl then could someone post a full list of them?

Warm regards
Dave

You cannot 'receive remuneration' for any flying 'work' with a PPL. Absolute minimum is a CPL, but I gather that finding CPL written exams (i.e. not doing the full ATPL) is like the proverbial needle in one's haystack.

It is possible to drop parachutists with only a PPL but you cannot be paid for it. Best you can hope for is free hour building - but then everyone wants that so competition will be fierce.

Good luck.

It got a job towing Gliders for a season. I received a small renumeration for my help on the ground as was stated in my contract. In no way was I paid for flying. That way you can build hours for free and still manage to live (just) on the small amount of pocket money.

Other than that, the only other type of job I know of is flying para planes.

To get a job towing gliders it really is a case of who you know. Also the chances are that you will have to be competent in tailwheel flying, as most tugs tend to be tailwheel a/c.
