Pre-Interview Job Application hold with ETIHAD - Please help

I applied for a job with ETIHAD and got the below email message:

At the moment your application is still on hold and as soon as we have any further information we will contact you. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Did any of you receive the above email from ETIHAD and still got shortlisted at a later time? or Should I consider it over and move on.

Hey Mirzakasim,

First when I read the email I thought like they just need some more time to come up with true decision. But judging by people's replies on those mails on forums it sounds like polite rejection from the airline or keeping in how they call it "waiting pool" which some people posted as they waited more than 6 months. :( scary!

P.S. Your name seem to be familiar to me. Where are you from?

Anyone had the same situation? What happened after? Did anyone of you guys got successful finally?
