Good evening folks,

Please can someone advise on a typical day for the above job within BAA?

They have a vacancy on their careers website- but the job description is a bit vague!

Many thanks.

Airfield surface inspections, includes runway, taxiway, and aprons. Lighting inspections. Bird control. Marshalling aircraft. Aircraft stand allocation. Snow clearance etc. Typical day will depend how many are on shift and how the duties are allocated to the shift team.

Main task's are an improved Security officers job , hide away from the towers view ( peak periods ) , turn up to a simple job , but make it ten times the amount of work of the original job , be awkward , don't abide by the airfield speed limit's , and cut up the towing A/C whilst your towing on to stand , but don't admit your in the wrong ......................
