View Full Version : When to start training

I have been very lucky to finally secure the nessacery finance to enrole and complete a full time ab initio course with a reconised training college in the UK.

However I have to decide when to start. I can either start in April or September/October this year, after talking to a pilot recently from BE he suggested that waiting until September/October might make a significant diffrence in terms of securing employment at the end of the course.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

SB,

I'm starting in July most probably on an integrated course. That means graduating in August(ish) 2003, and being ready to send CVs out in September. Most airlines recruit after the summer so I'd be looking for a job probably starting in 2004.

If I was more patient I'd actually start in July 2003...but I'm not

Good luck, and is it OATS or CABAIR?

Firstly I am 21 and don't ask how I have been able to acumulate the nessacery finance, its the usuall long story.

Finally I have chosen OAT.

And from what I am reading above waiting five months could make a diffrence or will it?

Cheers
