As anyone used UUMO with a bizjet? Is it any better than the overcrowded Vnukovo? How is access to downtown?

used it once about 2 years ago. Biggest hassle was finding it...... taxi driver only had a rough idea so we took better part of 2 hours to get there....ended up going cross country. Otherwise, not too bad (as far as Moscow goes). Certainly no where near as busy as Vnukovo. Airfield ATC english was not up to usual decent Moscow standard.

Access to downtown is a loooong way (about 1,5hrs in traffic), last few kilometers (going to the airport) is hard to find, through some villages and across a major train line -> if your luck runs out, you wait there for some 15-20 minutes.

We go there regularly, cause our companies russian offices are not far and my peers donīt like UUDD (esp.after the bombing).

The airport itself is okay, although RWY lighting is not what I like (eps. on 08, just HIRL and Papi-L) and 08 has an NDB only.
ATC pretty good IMO, with the usual problems of Moscow Regional ATC. (starnge vectors without explanation on how long it will be etcetc.)
Handling I okay, not outstanding but - compared to other russian handlers - quite okay.
Ramp service dudes are a great bunch, we have great fun with them despite them not speaking english we donīt speak russian...
All the ramp stuff goes fairly quick (fuel, toilet service etcetc.)
Your airplane will most likely be moved after shutdown. (why I donīt know and I will never know, cause only answer you get is: it is procedure.)
When there is a Gasprom flight you might be no.2 in terms of paxtransport to the airplane...
