Hi all,
Newbie here and trying to do a bit of market research so please bear with me...
Having trawled many websites and companies, I am trying to see if there would be a market for a new heli maint company in the north east of england?I can find plenty from the Midlands down but they seem somewhat scarce up north.
I have a number of ideas which I would like to incorporate but, if there is no market, or it is not what owners would want, then I shall adapt to suit what people would like/wish. One idea would be to have Avgas or Jet A1 on site on an honesty basis to help with planning issues on trying to get over the border.
I'm not planning on taking on an AOC, purely maintenance, delivering a quality product at a reasonable price.
I guess my questions really are:
1. What ideally (and realistically..) would you like from your maintenance organisation?
2. How far do you, or are you willing to travel to your maintenance base?
3. Which a/c are you mainly flying?
4. Any other requirements you would like fulfilled?
