Hi,

I recently purchased a Samsung GT-S3350 and want to add some songs fro my Itunes. There was no CD with the phone and I have looked at Samsung website but unsure as to which driver to download. Any ideas?

Help is much appreciated.

Many thanks,

HR

OK I will have a stab at this one.

Not as easy as you may think I am afraid. But here is the link that includes the driver and software to manage your phone via your pc.
Support for GT-S3350 SAMSUNG (http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_ia_cd=1903&prd_mdl_cd=GT-S3350HKAVOP&prd_mdl_name=GT-S3350&srchword=GT-S3350#)

The next problem and possibly the most difficult to solve is getting your sounds onto the phone. You will have a great deal of difficulty getting the phone to be seen on itunes. But I know that my phone (and others) has a little separate app that will find the itunes playlists and music and move them onto the phone. None of this is done within itunes itself so you will have to be flexible.

IN fact it was such a messy method that I soon gave up on using itunes to manage my music and movies on my phone and started using Sony's Media Go. (http://mediago.sony.com/enu/download/)

All I need is to set my phone as a 'disk drive' when I plug it into my pc. Media Go recognizes the phone immediately and transferring my playlists, music, movies etc is a breeze.

Best advice is a quick gander over the manual I had a quick look and there seems a host of methods available to you.

Just got a Galaxy3 GT-I5801 with Android 2.1 (Eclair). Anyone with some hints how to get/download Skype? skype.com/m says there no downloads for this type phone. Or, any suggestions for aviation apps. Thanks, much appreciated.

Just had a look at the android market and Skype is available on there but not sure which version of android it relies on.

https://market.android.com/search?q=skype&c=apps

Just search for skype on the market and see if it will work for you.

As far as apps goes I have not seen any that were worth their salt except one. That one is the Opera browser and use of 3G. :ok:
