Not much to report, other than a Cessna 550 Citation II registered B-7026 operated by Zhongfei General Aviation Company while performing aerial survey with a crew of 3 is reported to have crashed in Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Bayingolin of Xinjiang.
Aircraft has been missing since 19:45 Monday. Search ongoing.

Air and ground rescue forces in a western region of China on Thursday expanded the search for a missing aircraft after experts suggested that it might have crashed beyond its scheduled flight path.

Aerial survey in a Citation? Sure, yeah...you cut a hole in the bottom and put a camera down there and start flying around Mongolia...yeah, yeah...that's the ticket....

I know someone very well who used to do aerial survey in C550s - don't know if it was modified with a hole for a camera though, or specifically how it was used. I will see if I can get him to comment.
