Do any of our intrepid commuters know whether one can use an ID90 QF ticket on a jetstar service? Or do you need to issue another ticket?

I have done a search on the applicable website, but could not find jetstar mentioned as a standalone carrier, only mentioned as a "codeshare" of QF.

Cheers.

As long as there is a code share QF flight number on the J* service and you use a ZED ticket, no problems. All QF ID tickets are ZED tickets.

As 404T says, tkts are not a problem but listing is something else! JQ res staff don't seem to understand the concept of staff travelling with tkts issued by another carrier. It usually takes about 30-45 mins to list. Does anyone know if it's possible to list on-line as that 30-45mins could be spent looking after the full payers.

Hei yu, no, cannot, only QF staff can list online and from memory even QF staff can't list online for a JQ flight.

The last time I ID travelled on J* the number to ring to list was: 03 90926403. I don’t recall having any problem. Just tell them that you are CX staff and using a ZED ticket.

Thanks 404T,

Thanks for the number. What do they call themselves? Have you used that number recently?
I had a couple of MEL nbrs I used to call and the service was good. Then, about 18 months ago, I was told to phone their general reservations nbr.

I've just been on the phone today for 45 mins to list on a JQ flight.

The JQ airport staff are great, though, particularly at OOL.

If in Oz ring the call-centre direct on 131538 tell them you are CX or KA staff and they will list you no problems, much quicker and pleasant than QF staff travel. :ok:
