Hello all,

I was trying to find a similar thread but I couldn't find an answer for my issue:

I am cooperating with a FTO based in Czech Republic which "lost" its ability to fly sightseeing/scenic flights in 2008 due to EASA's restriction. We were told that the only way is to apply for AOC.

Recently I was told that there is some other way (something like "small AOC")...

Do you happen to know some details?

With kind Regards,

Its still an AOC never the less. I cant remember the figures off hand and couldnt be bothered to look it up but less than 16 (?????) staff, many of the AOC posts can be help by the same person.

There are other simplifications as well for small (VFR) operations but its all in EU-OPS. Best thing to do is contact the Czech CAA and work with them on it.

Another way to do it, is to put the plane under someone else's AOC and make a deal to contribute towards their fees.
