Me and my friend both Easyjet Captains were giving some advice to one of our young cabin crew members about her imminent interview with Virgin.
We both can't understand why you shot her down with your sarcastic comments , like read what info you have been sent and post on the correct forum when no info has been sent and as she has experience we presumed to be the correct forum.
It must be a real power trip for you to do this and then close the thread.
Love people like you.

Couldn't the post have been moved, so that the information requested could be obtained? We have all made a simple error in the heat of the moment before.

Either way, I have sent a DM to ezyvirgin hopefully with information they will find of use.

Your Cabin Crew friend registered on PPRuNe and then immediately posted the question.

She didn't read the forum description

She didn't use the search function

She didn't read the existing (extensive) information on the Wannabe's forum that answers her precise question.

In response to the closure of the original thread, she then threw a hissy fit and posted again in the same place, sniping at the moderation (now deleted).

In response to that deletion, she complained to Daddy and we now get you coming back and sniping again.

That's pretty impressive - a 100% failure rate so far. If she wants to be cabin crew a rather higher standard of initiative might be expected? The job requires a degree of that capability, along with tact.

Wannabes post in this forum frequently, and their posts are deleted immediately, as a rule. This keeps the forum clean for its' intended users. You don't see this activity because you can't see deleted posts, but I assurre you that it is there. In order to ensure that our moderation does not trouble you excessively in the future, I have withdrawn your posting rights to this forum.

bcf&gloves - Since you clearly don't get it, allow me to help. It is considered discourteous to come on this forum and criticise the moderation here and use that to promote you own forum. I'm sorry that something that I would consider to be an entry level of courtesy has escaped you.
