I have a French issued JAA CPL and I would like my licence to be managed from another JAA country.
Does anyone know about the way to proceed ?
Did somebody ever done it before ?
Who do I have to contact first : the French CAA (DGAC) or the foreign JAA CAA ?

Thanks for precise answers.

There is a form to use for the transfer of issuing countries.
Here is an example:

and another one;

I understand it can take a couple of months depending which JAA authorities you are dealing with...:zzz:
My guess is you make the application with the authority that you want to issue the license.

In order to transfer your licence From a JAA country to another JAA country you need to be resident or employed in this country. The transfer is easy just filling out forms and again paying a few hundred euros for a stupid piece of paper....:rolleyes:
And the usual waiting period of several weeks or months, depending on how lazy the authority in that country is...
