Hunter "spotted" in NCIS

Watched NCIS last night and some of the action was on an airbase somewhere in the USA and which took place near an ex-Israeli Skyhawk and a Hunter! Anybody know where this was and is the Hunter flying or simply a museum piece dragged out for the program?
