Just heard that Swissport have got the Thomas cook contract from 1st April. Finally they had enough of being handled by the circus and waiting on stand for 30 minutes plus before someone met them and offloaded bags.

Swissport are now looking for 20 ramp agents, 5 dispatchers and 2 duty managers. Money is not the best though.:(

They might wait 30 minutes in BHX ....but not at STN....We have normaly got A 320 offloaded and back in the rest room in 30 mins......Its the other way round here its Swissport that takes it time.......win at BHX lose at STN....I think thats what they call swings and roundabouts.

When Servisair did Thomson fly at STN the last bag from a 757 offload Had to be up the belt within 40 mins....or it was scurges all round.....Swissport were still at the planes side offloading bags after 40 mins...there bag times must have been over an hour most nights.

on 767s,747s,and other uld offloads, first bins in the undercroft about 14mins or less if we just take the first one down.

YOU GETS WHAT YOU PAY FOR:ok:

Legalize, thats a new one !! How reliable is your source ? This would effect a few staff as lh would want trained staff to be taken with them.....are swissport running before they have learned to walk :E

Interesting if true:confused:

If LH has stayed with the old Aviance they would have never had moved. There problem is with Servisair and the rotten service they are currently providing. The big attraction to Swissport for them is that they know all the ex-aviance management who now work for Swissport.
Also they know that LH trained staff would swith straight over under the TUPE agreement.

thomas cook, is not a good choice, 65 summer flights per week in the summer, but only 10 in the winter, so all the new staff will be here for the season.:suspect: , and of course they wont tell the new staff that there only here for a short while :( never mind once we tell them ;) they will be off like a shot,
and think of all those nights we will be soon working:(, still we can get rid of thomas cook ,,, all we have to do is be worst then servisair, mm that might be hard:{
