Medical reminders?

I have not been flying all too long, could someone tell me if I shall receive a reminder about renewing my medical before it is due to expire -like so many UK organisations enjoy dispatching to people. OR if I will need to self monitor this area of my aviation life in total detail personally? Thanks

cos some AME are very gfood, and some are very BAD.

also you might wish to extend validity by downgrading class 1 to 2 etc.

Some AMEs do send reminders some don't.

Ultimately your responsibility to keep an eye on your medical's expiry date.
